Eurico worked for 15 years at Edifer and two years at Elevolution Engenharia, where he served as director and coordinator of works and projects.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics) from Instituto Superior Técnico in 1976. He holds a postgraduate degree in Organization and Management of Companies from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa in 1984 and is a senior member of the Order of Engineers.
He began his professional career in 1976 as a Senior Technician, first in the General Directorate of Basic Sanitation and later in the Office of Studies and Planning of the Territory Administration.
He developed a career of leadership and direction, having held positions as Director of Planning Services at the General Directorate of Environment; Director of the Department of Sanitation of the City Hall of Lisbon; Director of the Department of Planning and International Affairs of the Waste Institute; Director of the service of Hydraulics and Basic Sanitation of Profabril Company; Director of the Tomar Delegation of the Águas do Centro Company, of the Águas de Portugal Group; and Deputy Director of the Municipal Water and Sanitation Services of Torres Vedras, where he remained until his retirement in 2014.
He has extensive experience in the area of water, sewage and waste, from the design of the execution project to the direction and coordination of multidisciplinary teams for the implementation of studies and planning actions, projects and works (in isolated or multi-municipal systems).
